Common Tarkov map tool issues and solutions
Windows says the app is from an unknown publisher
This is normal for the Tarkov map tool. Click "More info" then "Run anyway". The app is safe but not yet code-signed with a certificate.
The login dialog doesn't appear
Check if the dialog is behind other windows. Also ensure your firewall isn't blocking TarkovQuestie. Try running as administrator.
Tarkov map tool crashes on startup
Ensure you have Windows 10 or higher. Check that all files were extracted properly from the zip. Verify you're running TarkovQuestie.exe.
Can't connect to authentication server
Check your internet connection. Ensure no VPN is interfering. Windows Firewall may need to allow TarkovQuestie.
Where should I install the Tarkov map tool?
Install on the same drive as your Tarkov screenshots folder (usually C:\ drive). Avoid Program Files. Desktop or Documents folder recommended.
